Anything Dora in our home is a hit and this is no exception. My two women love the Dora Saves the Mermaid DVD and this doll seems like the character within the movie which is enjoyable for them. Not certain about the issue with the sound or motion per the opposite evaluation, possibly it was once a battery difficulty? Sound and movement work nice for us. My youngest loves the stories Dora informs. I would recommend this toy.

We bought this doll for our grand daughter's birthday. It labored twice then cease. What a dissapointment to our grand daughter. She was once damaged hearted. All the opposite Dora Items now we have bought appear to be ok however this one simply didn't work. Nothing about it worked. The speaking did not work both. It should be taken off the market., I have heard the same factor happend to differents which have bought this toy.

Terrible was oncete of money! My four year outdated was so dissapointed when she ultimately got this for her birthday. It does speak and move and sing however the skirt does no longer retract fully. Instead of turning round it will get caught and goes back and forth again and again and the skirt does not absolutely retract. Because this a mermaid doll she was expecting to bathtub with it. She couldn't remember that this mermaid doesn't go into the water. Very massive and chunky.

My daughter noticed this in the store and wished it for Christmas. I was disenchanted when I read the reviews as a result of I needed to buy it for her however didn't want her to stand upset when she starts enjoying with it. But I sold it anyway and idea that if it won't work, I can all the time return it. When we tried to set it up, it was oncen't working to begin with. But then, I saw a tab at the back of Dora, slightly below her neck. When I took it out, the toy works the way it will have to be.
