Wow, what a groovy toy. My three 1/2 year-old loved it - and even I was amazed to seek out that the automobile in reality does follow any line or swirly maze you create on the mat. My best complaint is that the automobile tends to show off reasonably fast. We like to take our time drawing up a cool path for Diego and Dora to observe, so we're all the time having to turn the jeep over to change it again on once more.

Other than that minor problem, it's an awfully cool and creative toy.

My daughter is a Dora fan and I althought this could be a super Christmas reward. She likes using it, however becomes pissed off because the automotive does not seem to apply the roads very smartly and/or flips off too fast. I think the mat is nice; the introduced characteristic of the auto used to be something that is now not residing as a lot as expectations.

I received this hoping my 20 month outdated daughter, who LOVES to scribble and draw, would steer clear of the crayons and pens and in finding this just as fun...and less messy, as she tries to paint all over the position the whole lot when she's given paper and a pen/crayon. It works nice, color disappears after a just right amount of time. The get up stencils of the house, bush, tree, Swipper, Boots and baby Jaguar are all plastic (better then I was once expecting). The pad is a pleasant large size. The automobile is heavy and greater then I anticipated it to be...but I'm afraid to let my 20 month old pick it up. She trys "wheeling" it around like a standard automobile and it issues me that she'll break the sensor underneath it. The automobile DOES practice the water paths very neatly though. I'm impressed with the way it works. When it doesn't have a trail to practice it wonders around for some time ahead of fliping itself off- looking for it.

The issues I've encountered inside just a few weeks of using it were these:
1. My DD has boughtten it lovely filthy. There's grime smudges on it and it is not very easy to wash...directions say to take a sponge to it softly however that doesn't get off the filth very a lot. Too a lot water will almost definitely spoil it.
2. It's very massive, and when you fold it to position it away it departs dents in the pad whilst you unfold it- which knocks the automobile off monitor and makes it more difficult to paint effectively.
3. My DD threw up on it slightly bit...referring to drawback 1, it is no longer simple to wash...and now it's splattered with blue marks. Probably from the oil in the little bit of throw up she had. I tried to sponge it off, but I think some oil used to be left in the back of. I'll be seeking to sponge these houses again soon to look if I can get the oil loose, but I'm scared of smashing it extra...especially with how expensive this pad was.
4.... My DD would nonetheless choose a pen and paper. When I pull this out for her she just messes around, scribbles somewhat bit, and will get kinda bored until I'm colouring for her... with a paper and pen she'll scribble, and scribble..and scribble. I used to be hoping Dora being on it might make her love scribbling on this factor, but it is just not her favorite. We love this Diego version of Chutes and Ladders. My son is 4 and he does an exceptional job applying the guidance.. the one befuddling part is a long standing perform of chutes and ladders, transferring from facet to side (changing guidance at each level) across the board. It confuses my terrible little sprout each time, especially if he goes up a ladder and that is abruptly going the same approach he was once before instead of the opposite, like he would if he hadn't hit a ladder. lol. In any adventure, it's tremendous and the characters are lovely and the board is adorable.

My husband and I sold this for our son's third birthday. He went nuts when it saw it at the store sooner than hellos birthday, so we made up our minds to get it for hellom. He loves ingenious play and Diego and we knew this would be good for him.

After placing the toy collectively, which was once very straightforward, I no lengthyericed that it fell apart so quickly. The legs that dangle the treehouse part of the the toy up constantly fall off in the adventure you try to pick it up and move it. When you push down the nest on the rooftop, which prompts the helicopter to fly round, the whole rescue heart wobbles round with it. The swinging door doesn't shut all the means and the "zip line" that attaches to the little hut comes off whilst you try to slide Diego down it. The elevator carry would not slide up and down the submit easily in any respect. You must tilt it up and then slide it. The rescue pack that assists Diego slide down the zip line is very troublesome to get on Diego.

As so much as my son loves this toy, it is extremely frustating for hellom when it would not work prefer it will need to. I get quite loads of "Mommy are you able to repair this!?!?" when he plays with it.

If it wasn't $40 and possibly like $20, I do not have been as disillusioned.

As different evaluateers have already stated, the construction of this rescue heart just isn't nice. The legs fall out simply, the zip twine is disappointing and my children can not move the elevator at all. That being mentioned, my two year outdated and four year outdated love to play with it and create Diego adventures with the determines. So even if it isn't one of the best designed toy, it provides resourceful play and the kids adore it.
