Okay, so I am an enormous Lord of the Rings fan, and Legolas has always been my favorite character. The Toy Biz Legolas motion determines have been nice, but their dolls were, smartly, unsightly. I thought we might never see a Legolas doll that in reality seemed as excellent as he did on movie.

Well, "Ken as Legolas" will permit you to get over the unsightly dolls of the previous. This one is a piece of art -- thanks, Mattel, for getting it proper!

The Legolas doll is even better in person than it appears the in the photos. Okay, so it does seem extra like Ken than Orlando Bloom, but as a minimum he is acquired a pretty face... to not mention long rooted blond hair and, oh sure, the pointed elf ears! The costume is intensely detailed, and very accurate to the film. The accessories, consisting of a quiver, bow & three arrows, are even higher.

The sturdy field is lovely, with a super photographic historical past appropriate for the Woodland Elf. It's consistant with all the Fellowship of the Ring packaging performed to this point, so it goes to fit proper in with the remainder of your LOTR assortment. I can't touch upon how the doll seems to be or poses out of the box, as a result of mine is staying in. It simply makes too gorgeous of a package... maybe I'll get a 2nd one in the future and in finding out. Sigh, if my outdated Barbies had simplest had Legolas to play with after I was going up!! The small print of this dolls is just wonderful. Right right down to the smallest stitching on his costume. The doll captures Legolas' Elven appear, yet is so masculine. I in reality feared they would futz up this doll, but they came thru.

I great addition to the LOTRs set from remaining year and Galadriel from this year. They are excellent show. Great Birthday or Christmas present and at this value you higher snap them up fast.

My husband purchased this doll for me for Christmas. He is a real stunner. They did an excellent job making hellom look just like the character in the motion images. He is possible one in all the few I display out in my living room. This is one I will preserve forever.

I received this doll extra because of its sale value then its seems to be in the beginning. I love the Lord of the Rings and Legolas will always be a favourite persona of LOTR ebook and picture fans. As dolls go, this will also be a well artworkiculated ken. His legs and arms move smartly which is a excellent function if you're in to posing and not preserveing dolls within their boxes. His face is smartly developed although now not in particular masculine. He IS alleged to be an elf though and I'm not embarrassed to have him on my shelf. His hair is similar to the flicks and has just a few nice padawan-type braids that I love.

The handiest thing I do NOT like about this doll is his costume which really feels low-cost and poorly made.

Overall, I'm satisfied to personal this doll. Its a really perfect addition to any Lord of the Rings or Barbie collection.
