For $39.99 the set used to be a just right worth. The inclusion of 4 mini-figures, more than 300 bricks, and a couple of unique bricks made the purchase price the value. If I really have made the set the only factor I would have changed is that I would have excluded one of the most Mordor Orcs and included Saruman.

I'm in the technique of amassing the entire Lego Lord of the Rings units, and I in truth wasn't very serious about this one. But now that I own it - it can be GREAT! Probably my 2nd favorite (behind Moria).

Pros:

Sweet mini-figures! The Uruk-hai seems SICK! Lurtz is beautiful neat too. The Mordor Orcs are not tremendous thrilling, BUT they're in reality versatile. They appear lovely good with the Moria Orcs (yay! larger Moria army) and they appear pretty just right with the Uruks when decked out in helmets, armor, and protects (yay! larger Isengard army).

Comes with 2 extra Uruk swords and 1 extra helmet and breastplate. Not dangerous, but may have extra additionals.

Really interestingly designed - they've jammed a selection of cool things to play with into it. And it appears tremendous orc-ish - tough, sharp, bits of scaffolding far and wide.

I'm an engineering pupil, and this set has SO MUCH POTENTIAL for awesome amendments. For instance, I rebuilt it into an orc-ish taking a appear steam engine powering an elevator, with an enormous furnace that has flames capturing out the parts of it and (of course) gentles up. (Okay, yeah, I wanted to steal 2 pieces from the ballista in the Uruk-hai Army set.)

Cons:

A Saruman minifig would've been good. But I'm hoping that he'll exhibit up in one of the most Hobbit sets that'll be launched later.

My nephew was extremely joyful with the glowing Lego and the appear of the whole set. If you've got children who just like the themed Lego sets, this may additionally be a win.
